It’s about Carl Jung and set in the Burghölzli clinic in Zurich. It’s called The Dream Healer, based on Timothy Findley’s book PILGRIM. Judith Forst, mezzo-soprano, John Avey, baritone and Roelof Oostwoud, tenor are guest artists with conductor David Agler and the UBC Opera Ensemble and UBC Symphony Orchestra. This is a fully-staged production with all sorts of drama and excitement. The music is beautiful – you can hear some of it at www.thedreamhealer.com Tickets are very reasonable – adult tickets are $29 - $44. Or give a helping donation with a “Friends” ticket for $150 and get a tax receipt for $120 and a preferred seat. I think people will be talking about this for some time so let’s make sure we’re there.
